Solar Panels which mimic a Sunflower
You may also have wondered that, a solar panel placed on the roofs, may become more efficient and effective; if it keeps readjusting its face to the Sun; so that its front always points towards the Sun. Just as a Sunflower does.
Qbotix, a Menlo Park, Calif. company has introduced a new robotic tracking system that mechanically pivots solar panels towards the Sun, saving energy and money. Making them upto 40 percent more effective.
Check out the video below:
Although the Qbotix may have specialised coding to accomplish the product; the "Robots pivot Solar Panels" is a lesson innovation. Many convincing and useful innovations have very simple concept at their foundation. If you can think different or take examples from your surrounding you can be an innovator.
