Fujitsu today unveiled a new line of business notebooks. Named Fujitsu Lifebook E, the notebooks are aimed at boosting enterprise mobility without sacrificing security.
The Lifebook E laptops are available in three form factors. Ranging from heavy to less usage. The series is an alternative to 15-inch desktop. The Fujistsu Lifebook E series is available in 13-inch, 14-inch and 15.6-inch models, all of which feature a touchpad with integrated buttons, an optional backlit keyboard, and the Fujitsu signature modular bay design that can host a second battery, an additional hard disk drive, an optical drive or a weight saver module to allow users carry it easily while travelling. To make it robust, Lifebook E series has an aluminum palm rest and a solid magnesium lid to protect the system.
All three notebooks support Intel Rapid Start Technology, have integrated optional Smart Card readers for security, WLAN and Bluetooth, full HD webcam with status LED. The buyers can choose between Windows 7 Professional or Windows 8 Pro operating systems.
The Lifebook E series notebooks are available now through Fujitsu starting at $899.
