For those who had played The Oregon Trail as a kid, probably on one of those ancient Mac desktops, will surely be excited to know that they should really be looking forward to the Facebook edition of the strategy game first launched in 1971.

The Oregon Trail, is slated to make its Facebook Debut on February 2.

According to The Learning Company, which helped produce The Oregon Trail port, the latest edition of the strategy game will be remarkable true to the original. So if you have to play one Facebook game – or read updates about one(even if you are fed up with your FarmVille playing Facebook friends' constant updates) – then they suggest Oregon Trail.

The Oregon Trail is the "educational" computer game that’s got it all: rabbits, diseases, oxen, and pitched battles. --------
