Wipro e.go Aero Ultra: India's first and slimmest 14 inch ultrabook

Wipro Infotech, today launched its e.go Aero range of ultraportable notebooks.

The range includes India’s slimmest and first 14-inch Ultrabook, called the e.go Aero Ultra.

The E.go Aero range comprises of ultraportable notebooks -- from 11.6-inch ultra-light notebook to the slimmest 14-inch Ultrabook; meant to suit the needs of the users in India, in both enterprise and retail segment. The range has namely three ultraportable notebooks, from lowest priced to the highest, viz. -- e.go Aero Alpha, e.go Aero Book and e.go Aero Ultra.

Specifications of e.go Aero Alpha:

Lowest in the range, the e.go Aero Alpha is powered by Powered by ntel® CoreTM i processors, has a 11.6-inch LED HD display.

Specifications of e.go Aero Book:

e.go Aero Book is powered by the latest 2nd Generation Intel® CoreTM i5 processors and has a 11.6″ LED HD display.

Specifications of e.go Aero Ultra:

Highest in the range, the e.go Aero Ultra is claimed to be India's first and slimmest ultrabook, built with magnesium alloy, and about 19.3mm in thickness. The feature-rich slim Ultrabook, e.go Aero Ultra sports a 14-inch LED backlit HD display, weighs just 1.7 kg. Has a 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard disk.

The e.go Aero Ultra comes preloaded with OEM Windows 7 and Microsoft Office Starter kit. The laptop has an isolation keyboard and a large multi-gesture touch pad. It incorporates new Intel technologies, such as Intel Rapid Start, Intel Smart Response and Intel Smart Connect, which enables an always connected state.

Price of e.go Aero range of Notebooks: Between Rs.39,900 to Rs.49,000, depending on the configuration.

What is an Ultrabook:

An Ultrabook is a higher-end type of subnotebook defined by Intel.[1] Intel has applied to register the name as a trademark.[2] Ultrabooks are designed to feature reduced size and weight, and extended battery life without compromising performance. It uses Intel processors with integrated graphics, solid-state drives for responsiveness, and unibody chassis to fit larger batteries into smaller cases. --------
